President Barack Obama, Premier Biden, Chancellor Pelosi and the rest of the Socialist 59 in the Senate put the finishing touches on the massive takeover of healthcare that puts the most unqualified people in America in charge of 1/6 of the nation’s economy. With last week's vote, the House of Misrepresentation gave the American people and the constitution the finger and we are stuck with it.

Who’s to blame? Well obviously the Democrats who supported this and rammed it down our throats are to get the lion’s share of the blame. But, I have to look back at the Republican Party's mishandling of the House and Senate, during the Bush Presidency, to highlight the root cause of the power Democrats have today. The conservative movement was absent during the Bush administration and now we have to pay for it. Big government, deficit spending, corruption, and ineffective messaging on energy dependency, partial privatization of social security, and balance budgets (or pay as you go spending) were no where to be found from 2000-2008.

But, the Democrats are not going to get off that easy. The cradle to grave society government support system the Democrats want to push on the American people is unconstitutional and intrusive on the country. The fair share taxation argument Premier Biden wants to unload on the “rich Americans” is offensive. I ask the Democratic members of Congress, if the Health Care bill is so necessary, why not put the tax increases in affect TODAY! I know why. They are afraid of losing their jobs and having to be re-careered in the Obama economy. You know the Obama economy, the one that gave huge bailouts to billion dollar companies, created 0 new jobs in energy, and has only stimulated government spending and NOTHING else.

The Republicans also missed a golden opportunity to point out the reasoning behind "kids" maintaining health care coverage, on their parent’s policies, until the age of 26. Obama and his corrupt gang included this because he has been completely inept in stimulating the economy. He has done nothing and provided nothing in the way of opportunity for those 26 year olds to get jobs and their own health care coverage. All of those college aged “kids” who put the Socialist in Chief into office can’t get a job and now they love his attempt to keep them happy by letting them continue to mooch off their parents. At last, I am comforted by the fact their parents are the baby boomers that helped create this disastrous liberal agenda in America 45 years ago. I wish the Greatest Generation were better parents and grandparents and this nightmare could have been avoided.

Till next time when www.bringfreedomback.com tackles the assault on the Tea Party movement. I look at the Republican Party and I wonder if we have the naïve or the stupid. A year and a half ago, the American media left us for dead as the Democrats led by Barak Obama swept through the November 2008 elections and put the party of Marx firmly in power. As recent as a January Op-Ed piece by Charles M. Blow in the New York Times has the looney left describing the death of the Republican Party and its conservative followers as being “on the wrong side of history. The demographics of the country are rapidly changing, young people are becoming increasingly liberal on social issues, and rigid, dogmatic religious stricture is loosening its grip on the throat of our culture.” Really? Is Mr. Blow describing 1960 or 2010?
The young people of the world have always been more socially liberal. That is part of the psychology of leaving the stages of youth and entering adult hood. I know this without even believing in Freud’s, Piaget’s or others partaking in psycho babble in a clinical way. But, history shows us young people rebel, they spread their wings, they break from what their parents do as norms, they make mistake, get an education, a job, pay absurd taxes and snap back to a conservative reality. Those who don’t follow that pattern go into government, hug trees, question big business and innovation and has a strong want to have everyone just get along. I digress for a reason. The party has been labeled as “dead” and a “regional political party” by more than Mr. Blow and if we do not start becoming the party of solutions, we will be dead.
I long for the days of the Newt Gingrich led Republicans. 8 years and out and let’s get some serious stuff done. Our system by nature is meant to be slow, methodical and wary of swift movements that can take the country by storm but need more thought. With all of Newts faults come a lengthy list of efficient government, partnered with Bill Clinton at times, that produced results. Those results became less effective as those career politicians who vowed to serve only 8 years in self imposed term limits, stayed on for a longer ride. They must have been the most brilliant people in America that we truly could not do without. Here is a list of the fine Republicans who were elected to the House on the premise of the Contract With America’s:

Charles Bass, NH-02
Steve Chabot, OH-01
Tom Davis, VA-11
Mark Foley, FL-16
Rodney Frelinghuysen, NJ-11
Gil Gutknecht, MN-01
Doc Hastings, WA-04
J.D. The party of Reagan needs wake up and bring to the table the ethics, morality and most important ideas and solutions that are reminiscent of our fine history as a party. It starts with a simple campaign commitment they can control; term-limit yourself. Before you do that, fix the numerous government problems in an effective and efficient way. The list should start with these few ideas and move on as needed:

1.	Fix health care system. We know it has flaws, stop ignoring the obvious by coming up with responsible solutions that won’t bankrupt individuals or the country.

2.	Defend our way of life and out allies. Speak softly and carry a big stick sounds about right.

3.	Infrastructure. It’s a disaster in many areas. Figure it out. If growth in the south is going to be greater over the next ten years than it has been in the last 50 years, you might want to fix roads, build schools, study sustainability and most of all sit in traffic where your constituents live and work to see the daily frustrations that you have helped create through your reactive approach as opposed to proactive governing.

4.	Government spending. Stop mortgaging our future.

5.	Social Security. Read bullet #1.

6.	The least of all, know that we can fire you at any moment. Through our own lackadaisical approach to voting, governance and getting involved you have been lucky to last this long as our leaders. This could change at any moment and would be real change I can believe in. Do not take the American people’s laziness for ignorance. We know what’s going on, we have not had it so badly affect us personally to have acted on it. Do not wake the sleeping giant of the American people who are too busy worrying about keeping their own job to crusade against you still having yours.

Republicans is the name of the party that most represents the conservative thought in America. When I last visited this subject we exposed the Democrats position on Socialist Security. Lets refresh…they want to tax the money you earn and tax it several times, they think your too stupid to invest 10% of the money they confiscate from your paycheck and they do not find a need to participate in the system they fully endorse. Did I miss anything? Ok, great, now let’s take a look at the choice they really love to embrace. The choice that is number one in the hearts of Democrats is the choice to kill unborn babies in the name of “women’s rights.”

The argument of Roe v. Wade is a little overblown. For better or for worse, I am of the position it will never be overturned. I am a Pro-Life guy, but I see the rationale of some extreme scenarios and think those scenarios need to be protected. I am not even going to argue the pros and cons of keeping abortion legal, what I am going to argue is the hypocritical public stance, mainly Democrats take, on the subject.

Today is Sunday, this is the day the Lord made, and we shall be glad and rejoice in it. Today, hundreds of pro-choice politicians will walk through the doors of churches in this country and continue to be unchallenged in those churches on their public record defending unborn children. They will sit in the pews today, campaign in the halls throughout the year, give speeches at the pulpit when called upon and slap GOD in the face with the reasoning behind the support of killing unborn children. The poetic justice of this will come on their judgment day. It will come to those politicians who Framed the Argument that GOD is ok with killing babies and those who sat idly by and said nothing in the babies’ defense will be called to judgment too.

The church has long been a battleground for candidates of the Republican and Democratic Parties and today, it is more evident. The Democrats hate GOD and the church, but they need the people who fill the pews for votes. They must keep up a good appearance because there are still many of us who believe in the Bible, Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and the purpose for worship and fellowship and we vote! This is not an advocacy to throw people out of church, like pro-choice Democrats Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Vice President Joe Biden and our current President Barak Obama, this is a wake up call to those who watch them live a life that endorses a fundamental belief it is ok to kill unborn children and not be challenged by the Christian community because they may agree with their politics.

GOD does not agree with the politics of abortion. The hypocrisy that goes unchallenged is offensive. I am more offended by those who sit in the church and listen to the countless lies of the Democrats and do not make them defend their position in the terms of their Christianity. The Bible does not endorse the killing of children anywhere in its pages. But, Democrats love to say this about women and their right to choose. It has nothing to do with women; it has to do with votes. Those unborn children do not have the ability to vote, be dependent on the government, rise up and challenge authority, or scream for help. And the Democrats don’t care.

I want the people who fill our churches during the week to stand up and challenge the pro-choice Democrats and Republicans that walk through the church doors, even for Sunday service, on why they think GOD approves of their pro-choice stance? Where does GOD say it’s ok to kill unborn babies? When do you think GOD thinks the child is a child? Not in generalities but I want a number. Is it a baby at 3 months, 5 months, and 9 months or only once the child exits the womb? The Democrats are great at speaking vaguely with philosophies that have created more problems in this country than we have the ability to solve. They will be stuck in area they are ill prepared for if they were challenged by the people in the church whenever they walked through the church doors. The unborn children slaughtered yearly deserve an explanation.

I am sad to say that many of the church goers are pro-choice too. I guess that is between them and GOD. I will not stand by and let people lie and say GOD is ok with abortion because it’s a women’s right to chose. GOD maybe ok with it in those extreme scenarios, but I am positive it has little to do with choice. I was face with that choice at 23, and it was no choice it was a child. My daughter was born to 2 dirt poor people who at the time could not stand each other and were in way over our heads. I made $7.50 an hour and my first wife made $7.75 an hour at the time we had our daughter. We could afford nothing but love and it was all she needed at the time. We overcame so much and even though we are not married today, we have 2 wonderful children we can be proud of. My daughter is the apple of my eye and I love her so much. My son is not so bad himself, actually I am just kidding, and he is a great young man who is a better person than I could dream to be. Neither one of my children were choices they were a gift from GOD!

Sara Palin loves her special needs child just as much as I love my daughter. What other politician would have made the same choice she did? The critic’s line up to take shots at Palin, but GOD does not. She has defended the unborn child on multiple occasions, in her own life, and is an example of how a politician can walk through the doors of a church and know they represent GODS view on an unborn child. They are not choices, they are children!

Thanksgiving Day!

As I was driving into work today, staring at the New York City skyline, I started to reflect on all that I was thankful for. The first few moments of thought were spent on my family. One week from the day after Thanksgiving is my 10th anniversary to my wife. She is the best and to say that her tenure as my wife is a test of her endurance is an understatement. My wife has seen me go from zero to explosion on any number of occasions from Al Gore trying to steal the election from George W. Bush, the New Jersey Nets 2 failed NBA finals appearances, countless Steelers losses they should have won and silly things too like losing in a game of XBOX.
My wife has come to love even though I will double down with $400 dollars down on the blackjack table. She tolerates me even though I am limited in my housekeeping skills. She laughs at me when I have drank one too many and start ripping away with inappropriate jokes. And most of all she likes me, for who I am and allows me to be that person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I am thankful for a great wife and the first 10 years of a special relationship that will last forever.
My children and my mother were heavy on my heart today too. My mom died the day after my wife and I got married and there is not a day that goes by I do not think of her. She was a good person, with never a bad intention. I love her and miss her. I wish she could be here to see all that I have accomplished after a bit of a rough start in adulthood, I know she is watching and hope she is proud. My kids are my life. I miss them everyday that I am not near them. I think about them all the time and am proud of the people they are and the young adults they are turning out to be. They have a bright future ahead of them and I have recommitted myself to being in the best shape of my life so I can live long to see all of their dreams come true.
I am also thankful for a great family that is close to me here in New Jersey and extended to Pennsylvania and Florida. I have 2 wonderful sisters who have amazing children. I love being the kid around my nephews and the spoiling the little princess, my niece. I grew up with cousins on my mother’s side I am still close with and always enjoy when they are around. My dad is an amazing person who I never heard speak badly about someone else. My wife and I live with him now and he is a huge help and I love being around him. Overall, my family is unique, funny, typical, generous, overbearing and best of all, they are mine and I am thankful for all of them.
The thirty minute drive brought me full circle to the reason I contribute to this blog. I want my country to be a better place to live for me, my family and friends. I am thankful I live in the greatest country on God’s green earth. I am thankful for our founders, while not perfect, had the best plan for citizen representation in the history of government. I am thankful George Washington did not want to be a king and term limited himself after 8 years as President. I am wondering why that is not good enough today for senators like Robert Byrd, Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, and even John McCain. Follow one of the greatest Americans and term limit yourself.
I am thankful for President’s Reagan and both Bush’s, moral and principal led leaders that allowed God into the White House once again. I am thankful that our worst Presidents, Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter, are better than most countries best leaders. I am thankful the American people realized after 4 years of Carter we needed a Reagan and hoping for history to repeat itself in 2012. I am thankful for the greatest fighting force this earth has every seen, the United States military, and wish them a Happy Thanksgiving from the safety of my home. A safety they provide everyday. I am thankful to live in a country of opportunity and Direct TV. And most of all thankful to God for allowing me to live this blessed life. To all my friends, family, and followers of this blog HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Framing the Argument

<dc:subject>Freedom Blog</dc:subject>

The title of this blog submission is the title to the book I planned on writing back in 2003. I submitted the idea to some hack publishing company that sent me a flattering letter saying I had a great idea. The instructions included me sending them a few chapters at a time so they could see how I was progressing and provide feedback. We never got to that point. I wrote many pages, but discovered that I was not ready to tackle that project while finishing my BA in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and running my food service company, Fairway Stops Inc. So the project was put on the back burner where several other ideas I have had went to die a slow painful death.
Not long after the Framing the Argument idea was shelved, I thought of another book idea, Stealing Home, a political book about sports teams holding government’s hostage to get a version of corporate welfare to be located in the city that pays the most. I started that book shortly after I pitched it to the same company, getting the same response, only to have it suffer the same untimely death. I really liked that book idea. I really liked the idea of running for Congress, going to law school, starting multiple business sites, owning rental property, and others that I have tried with varying degree’s of success.
I am not giving up on Framing the Argument though as I believe it is a relevant topic today. The book was about the inept way Republican’s and conservatives try to get their points across to win favor with the American people and advance the agenda that is more rooted in the founders vision than any other agenda. Rush Limbaugh, Shaun Hannity and others are not getting the points of the party across to those who not supporters, they reach those already behind the conservative movement of the country. All too often they put a rubber stamp of approval on Republican’s because they are fearful if they don’t, it could help erode their support, even if the Republican leader is not upholding the principals of the party or conservatism. This is evident by the years of staying silent while the Republicans in Congress spent money like a drunken sailor on payday.
So by now you are probably asking, what argument would you make if provided the forum? I am glad you asked because while its not that these subjects are not being brought up, but brought up in such a half ass way you could not make progress with any of the MSNBCCCP (CCCP is the abbreviation of the former Soviet Union) which could very well be persuaded if the argument was framed the right way. If I were in Congress today, I would not talk about the Socialist Health Care movement without talking about the other failed Socialist program the Republican’s wanted overhauled, Social Security.
Social Security is a nice little concept. At a certain age or due to certain circumstances the government gives you money. You may not have worked more than 3 years of your life, paid any taxes, or contributed to the fund as much as anyone else, but we are going to cut you a check for just being old or having an unfortunate situation in your life that qualifies according to the government. George W. Bush talked a good game about overhauling this during his 2000 Presidential Campaign. Eight years later not one ounce of reform has been accomplished. I would hijack the health care idea until the Democrats offer real conversation on Social Security. This is how I would Frame the Argument:

If this argument was effectively made the Democrats would now be on stage, before the country, about what kind of choice they really support. They certainly DO NOT believe in choice for the Second Amendment rights, DO believe in choice in killing babies and whatever political football that brings in votes. Conservatives need to reach out to moderates and independents to make this argument. With all of our fancy lawyers serving in Washington, it’s hard to believe we can not get out our message across in a persuasive manner. The disadvantages Republican’s have lies in media coverage, but we can not accept that any longer.
In getting the facts of the cases out, I would be aggressive and stick to the message that we know is right. Social Security is OUR money. We earned it. They taxed it and forced us to invest it and will tax it again when you get it. I am not talking health care to one person until this important socialist program is addressed. Let the party of BAD IDEAS explain to the American people why they are so stupid they can not be trusted with 10% of their own money to invest. Let the party of BAD IDEAS explain why this money earned is taxed more than once. Let the party of BAD IDEAS explain why they have been the party of the poor in most major cities and the projects don’t look better and people’s situations are not improving in those areas. The Democrats want you to think the only choice for Americans are their socialist motivated ideas. It keeps them in power, people dependent on them and this country from realizing its potential.
We need to move forward Framing the Argument on this issues of the country, without fear oh how we will be portrayed. We need to remember, the country was not founded on ANY core Democratic idea, which should tell you this country is going in the wrong direction. I will be glad to Frame the Argument moving forward. We all know the popular ones that can be heard daily on MSNBCCCP; like the labeling of good GOD fearing folk as the “religious right.” How about those Americans, who are 2nd Amendment defenders, being labeled by the left as the “gun crowd”? Another favorite of mine is the “extremists” who decided to stage Tea Parties around the country to express their outrage about the government’s monetary policy at home.
The Democrats have positioned their argument as the “party of inclusion” or the “party of yes.” I would say they are the Party of Ignorance is more like it and for the country this ignorance is not bliss. The liberal media, backed by the Democratic Party, is refusing to label Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood Murderer, as a Muslim Extremist. Some news sources, spewing the propaganda of the Democratic Party, have labeled him as “deranged”, “psychopathic”, “troubled” and “mentally unstable” as if he had no ties to the fundamental teachings of Muslim Extremists. Treading ever so carefully as to not offend anyone in President Obama’s religious and political circles, the media wants the American people to believe Hasan went off the deep end because of a fear he had deploying to a combat zone. If you say something out loud and it sounds like crap, it is crap, and this said out loud reeks of liberal propaganda in the spirit of another mislabeling in the respect shown Yasser Arafat.
The liberal media developed a love for Arafat in a slobbering affection that has only recently been duplicated for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a communist’s the liberals can’t stop swooning over. Arafat caught the eye of the liberal media that never fully recognized that he was Bin Laden before Bin Laden was Bin Laden. Arafat was a killer, who robbed his people, sucked them into an endless war, charmed President Clinton, and actually won a Nobel Peace Prize from a delusional group willing to ignore his past terroristic activities. The media ignored the body of Arafat’s work and labeled him a “hero”, “freedom fighter”, and “peace seeker”.
The media has shown to be unreliable in dealing with Muslim related terrorist activities. I would love to blame this on the behavior modeled by President Clinton when he was in office, but the Clinton News Network (CNN) was at it long before the 42nd President hit the scene. Labeling the shootings at Fort Hood as a “tragedy” is an insult to all those who watched the details of this terrorist unfold. And I know it pains the liberal media when one of the groups they love to defend proves to be the scumbags they are, the media outlets has to go in deflection or justification mode.
You can not justify or defend the media’s reporting in this terrorist attack, they are blind to the fact that Hasan is a Muslim terrorist who killed 14 not 13 people at Fort Hood (I do count the unborn child) and has sympathy and ties to Al Qaeda and our enemies in the Middle East. The left will not label Hasan as a “terrorists” and that is a crime against the victims of this attack. In the spirit of Ann Coulter the Democratic Party and liberal media have earned the label “treasonous” in their response to the attack on Fort Hood by a Muslim extremist terrorist.

Remembering Veteran's On Their Day

Today is my day. At least that is what I say around my office every year when Veteran’s Day comes around. I half heartedly say I should have the day off although I would not take it if it was offered. I did after all spend 4 years in the regular ARMY and another 6 years in both the Florida and New Jersey National Guards. But seriously, today is the day we stop and say “thank you” to vets of all generations and age groups. And then we continue on with our lives. For those of us who served we rarely look for admiration or praise from people who did not. We grizzly old vets sit around and revisit the funny stories from our service, reminisce about the soldiers known and lost and wonder how the troops today do it. The things I remember are:

My grandmother telling me of the 4 YEARS my grandfather spent on a Navy ship during WWII. As I look back on this country’s history I wonder where we went wrong the respect and treatment of our military. My grandfather previously mentioned, Joseph Gennaro, was part of the Greatest Generation. My observations tell me it was the following generation, the Greatest Disappointment that signaled a downturn in the treatment of our vets. The baby boomers, principal members of the Greatest Disappointment, invented the massive war protest of the Vietnam era and were the first to get personnel in those protests against soldiers. Today, their spoiled liberal kids have perfected the protests and have shown utter disdain for our brave men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Congressional liberal agneda’s push for a government run health care system has ignored the failed undertaking of the Veteran’s Affairs health care system. If we treat our fighting men in women with substandard healthcare, how can President Obama face our troops with a straight face knowing he is pushing a system that the government has proven unable to run before fixing the issues with the VA. And lastly, the governments elected officials use the military for photo ops, securing government contracts and dollars, Election Day votes and little else. Most of them have not served and that’s ok. Remembering the members of congress scurrying about with the threat of attacks on Washington D.C. on September 11, 2009 tells me they would not be the best individuals to put on a uniform.
And so I take time today, and multiple times during most weeks to think about my fellow vets, active duty soldiers and those ready to join. I encourage you to thank a vet, not today, but whenever you see them. I encourage you to remember we secured our freedom with volunteers, saved the world, TWICE, with 18 year old kids, have taken the lead role as the world police and continue to fight the world’s most evil people with the greatest fighting force ever assembled in the history of this planet. To the American fighting men and women past and present, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY and THANK YOU for your service.

Suggested Topics For Next Week's Blog

Unemployment Still Rising

Even if we take at face value the White House claim that it created or saved all these jobs with approximately $150 billion of the economic stimulus money, a little simple math shows the taxpayers aren't getting any bargains here: $150 billion divided by 650,000 jobs equals $230,000 per job saved or created. Instead of taking all that time required to write the 1,588-page stimulus bill, Congress could have passed a one-pager saying the first 650,000 jobless persons to report for work at the White House will receive a voucher worth $230,000 redeemable at the university, community college or trade school of their choice. ">This week the sitting Democrats in office, across the nation, should have been paying attention to what happened in New Jersey and Virginia’s Governor’s elections but seemed to be blind of the message sent by voters. In a stunning show of bravado the Congress went ahead with a vote on health care reform that smacked the facts of Tuesday’s elections result in the face of the American voters and continued down the path of a socialist state. Yesterdays late night vote on health care reform, that narrowly passed by a 220-215 margin, shows Democrats still do not get it nor care to get it when it comes to personal freedoms and choices. So let’s take a look at the week’s events that should have been a wake up call to whatever non socialist Democrats are still serving in the U.S. Government.
The election of Chris Christie in New Jersey should have sent a clear message down 95 South to the party of Marx and let them know the President’s message is not going over well in a traditionally blue state. New Jersey, home of unions, corruption, and politics as usual and astronomically high taxes rebuffed President Obama’s multiple visits to the Garden State on behalf of incumbent Governor John Corzine. The Clinton Army also made stops in New Jersey, but the people ignored their plea to continue down the high tax and corruption road and voted in Chris Christie (R) as the next Governor. Much like the images of the Twin Towers being attacked, election results from Tuesday have been buried for researchers to dig up. Why would they do this? In reading the socialist blog, The Huffington Post, the election result article (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/03/new-jersey-election-resul_n_344261.html) written by Liz Sidoti on November 3, 2009 made no mention of margin of victory for the Republicans.
The Democratic denial syndrome manifested itself into yesterday’s vote. The Virginia Governor’s race, in the backyard of Obama’s Washington agenda strongly went to the Republican Bob McDonnell by a 2-1 margin over Creigh Deeds. Virginia voters were witnesses at close range to the Democrats socialist agenda and it did not pay off. McDonnell labeled liberal, and that may have some truth to it, by Huffington’s Marxist writers took back a state that swept Obama to victory from Richmond to Alexandria to Midlothian and back to Petersburg. It was a clear defeat for Obama and his cronies. Yet the Democratic leadership would lead you to believe otherwise.
      The real loser of this week’s events will be the American people if the health care bill is not defeated in the Senate.  A half hearted cheer went through the house chamber as they got to the 218 vote mark that signaled passage.  The cheer was followed up by a deafening silence as Americans watch Marx, European Socialists and the Democratic Party try to recreate the face of American business, politics and identity.  Now is the time to stand up or lose the America Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Thomas Paine and others worked so hard to provide a time proven foundation for democracy and freedom. <span style="font:16px 'Lucida Grande', LucidaGrande, Verdana, sans-serif;
