I submitted the idea to some hack publishing company that sent me a flattering letter saying I had a great idea. The instructions included me sending them a few chapters at a time so they could see how I was progressing and provide feedback. We never got to that point. I wrote many pages, but discovered that I was not ready to tackle that project while finishing my BA in Political Science from the University of Central Florida and running my food service company, Fairway Stops Inc. So the project was put on the back burner where several other ideas I have had went to die a slow painful death.
Not long after the Framing the Argument idea was shelved, I thought of another book idea, Stealing Home, a political book about sports teams holding government’s hostage to get a version of corporate welfare to be located in the city that pays the most. I started that book shortly after I pitched it to the same company, getting the same response, only to have it suffer the same untimely death. I really liked that book idea. I really liked the idea of running for Congress, going to law school, starting multiple business sites, owning rental property, and others that I have tried with varying degree’s of success.
I am not giving up on Framing the Argument though as I believe it is a relevant topic today. The book was about the inept way Republican’s and conservatives try to get their points across to win favor with the American people and advance the agenda that is more rooted in the founders vision than any other agenda. Rush Limbaugh, Shaun Hannity and others are not getting the points of the party across to those who not supporters, they reach those already behind the conservative movement of the country. All too often they put a rubber stamp of approval on Republican’s because they are fearful if they don’t, it could help erode their support, even if the Republican leader is not upholding the principals of the party or conservatism. This is evident by the years of staying silent while the Republicans in Congress spent money like a drunken sailor on payday.
So by now you are probably asking, what argument would you make if provided the forum? I am glad you asked because while its not that these subjects are not being brought up, but brought up in such a half ass way you could not make progress with any of the MSNBCCCP (CCCP is the abbreviation of the former Soviet Union) which could very well be persuaded if the argument was framed the right way. If I were in Congress today, I would not talk about the Socialist Health Care movement without talking about the other failed Socialist program the Republican’s wanted overhauled, Social Security.
Social Security is a nice little concept. At a certain age or due to certain circumstances the government gives you money. You may not have worked more than 3 years of your life, paid any taxes, or contributed to the fund as much as anyone else, but we are going to cut you a check for just being old or having an unfortunate situation in your life that qualifies according to the government. George W. Bush talked a good game about overhauling this during his 2000 Presidential Campaign. Eight years later not one ounce of reform has been accomplished. I would hijack the health care idea until the Democrats offer real conversation on Social Security. This is how I would Frame the Argument:

If this argument was effectively made the Democrats would now be on stage, before the country, about what kind of choice they really support. They certainly DO NOT believe in choice for the Second Amendment rights, DO believe in choice in killing babies and whatever political football that brings in votes. Conservatives need to reach out to moderates and independents to make this argument. With all of our fancy lawyers serving in Washington, it’s hard to believe we can not get out our message across in a persuasive manner. The disadvantages Republican’s have lies in media coverage, but we can not accept that any longer.
In getting the facts of the cases out, I would be aggressive and stick to the message that we know is right. Social Security is OUR money. We earned it. They taxed it and forced us to invest it and will tax it again when you get it. I am not talking health care to one person until this important socialist program is addressed. Let the party of BAD IDEAS explain to the American people why they are so stupid they can not be trusted with 10% of their own money to invest. Let the party of BAD IDEAS explain why this money earned is taxed more than once. Let the party of BAD IDEAS explain why they have been the party of the poor in most major cities and the projects don’t look better and people’s situations are not improving in those areas. The Democrats want you to think the only choice for Americans are their socialist motivated ideas. It keeps them in power, people dependent on them and this country from realizing its potential.
We need to move forward Framing the Argument on this issues of the country, without fear oh how we will be portrayed. We need to remember, the country was not founded on ANY core Democratic idea, which should tell you this country is going in the wrong direction. I will be glad to Frame the Argument moving forward. I will not give my country up!

Lefty Labels... the Few They Forgot

Ah the left, how they love to label the conservative crowd with an overtly negative catch phrase. We all know the popular ones that can be heard daily on MSNBCCCP; like the labeling of good GOD fearing folk as the “religious right.” How about those Americans, who are 2nd Amendment defenders, being labeled by the left as the “gun crowd”? Another favorite of mine is the “extremists” who decided to stage Tea Parties around the country to express their outrage about the government’s monetary policy at home.
The Democrats have positioned their argument as the “party of inclusion” or the “party of yes.” I would say they are the Party of Ignorance is more like it and for the country this ignorance is not bliss. The liberal media, backed by the Democratic Party, is refusing to label Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood Murderer, as a Muslim Extremist. Some news sources, spewing the propaganda of the Democratic Party, have labeled him as “deranged”, “psychopathic”, “troubled” and “mentally unstable” as if he had no ties to the fundamental teachings of Muslim Extremists. Treading ever so carefully as to not offend anyone in President Obama’s religious and political circles, the media wants the American people to believe Hasan went off the deep end because of a fear he had deploying to a combat zone. If you say something out loud and it sounds like crap, it is crap, and this said out loud reeks of liberal propaganda in the spirit of another mislabeling in the respect shown Yasser Arafat.
The liberal media developed a love for Arafat in a slobbering affection that has only recently been duplicated for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a communist’s the liberals can’t stop swooning over. Arafat caught the eye of the liberal media that never fully recognized that he was Bin Laden before Bin Laden was Bin Laden. Arafat was a killer, who robbed his people, sucked them into an endless war, charmed President Clinton, and actually won a Nobel Peace Prize from a delusional group willing to ignore his past terroristic activities. The media ignored the body of Arafat’s work and labeled him a “hero”, “freedom fighter”, and “peace seeker”.
The media has shown to be unreliable in dealing with Muslim related terrorist activities. I would love to blame this on the behavior modeled by President Clinton when he was in office, but the Clinton News Network (CNN) was at it long before the 42nd President hit the scene. Labeling the shootings at Fort Hood as a “tragedy” is an insult to all those who watched the details of this terrorist unfold. And I know it pains the liberal media when one of the groups they love to defend proves to be the scumbags they are, the media outlets has to go in deflection or justification mode.
You can not justify or defend the media’s reporting in this terrorist attack, they are blind to the fact that Hasan is a Muslim terrorist who killed 14 not 13 people at Fort Hood (I do count the unborn child) and has sympathy and ties to Al Qaeda and our enemies in the Middle East. The left will not label Hasan as a “terrorists” and that is a crime against the victims of this attack. In the spirit of Ann Coulter the Democratic Party and liberal media have earned the label “treasonous” in their response to the attack on Fort Hood by a Muslim extremist terrorist.

Remembering Veteran's On Their Day

Suggested Topics For Next Week's Topic

Unemployment Still Rising

Even if we take at face value the White House claim that it created or saved all these jobs with approximately $150 billion of the economic stimulus money, a little simple math shows the taxpayers aren't getting any bargains here: $150 billion divided by 650,000 jobs equals $230,000 per job saved or created. Instead of taking all that time required to write the 1,588-page stimulus bill, Congress could have passed a one-pager saying the first 650,000 jobless persons to report for work at the White House will receive a voucher worth $230,000 redeemable at the university, community college or trade school of their choice. ">This week the sitting Democrats in office, across the nation, should have been paying attention to what happened in New Jersey and Virginia’s Governor’s elections but seemed to be blind of the message sent by voters. In a stunning show of bravado the Congress went ahead with a vote on health care reform that smacked the facts of Tuesday’s elections result in the face of the American voters and continued down the path of a socialist state. Yesterdays late night vote on health care reform, that narrowly passed by a 220-215 margin, shows Democrats still do not get it nor care to get it when it comes to personal freedoms and choices. So let’s take a look at the week’s events that should have been a wake up call to whatever non socialist Democrats are still serving in the U.S. Government.
     The election of Chris Christie in New Jersey should have sent a clear message down 95 South to the party of Marx and let them know the President’s message is not going over well in a traditionally blue state. New Jersey, home of unions, corruption, and politics as usual and astronomically high taxes rebuffed President Obama’s multiple visits to the Garden State on behalf of incumbent Governor John Corzine. The Clinton Army also made stops in New Jersey, but the people ignored their plea to continue down the high tax and corruption road and voted in Chris Christie (R) as the next Governor. Much like the images of the Twin Towers being attacked, election results from Tuesday have been buried for researchers to dig up. Why would they do this? In reading the socialist blog, The Huffington Post, the election result article (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/03/new-jersey-election-resul_n_344261.html The Democratic denial syndrome manifested itself into yesterday’s vote. The Virginia Governor’s race, in the backyard of Obama’s Washington agenda strongly went to the Republican Bob McDonnell by a 2-1 margin over Creigh Deeds. Virginia voters were witnesses at close range to the Democrats socialist agenda and it did not pay off. McDonnell labeled liberal, and that may have some truth to it, by Huffington’s Marxist writers took back a state that swept Obama to victory from Richmond to Alexandria to Midlothian and back to Petersburg. It was a clear defeat for Obama and his cronies. Yet the Democratic leadership would lead you to believe otherwise.
      The real loser of this week’s events will be the American people if the health care bill is not defeated in the Senate.  A half hearted cheer went through the house chamber as they got to the 218 vote mark that signaled passage.  The cheer was followed up by a deafening silence as Americans watch Marx, European Socialists and the Democratic Party try to recreate the face of American business, politics and identity.  Now is the time to stand up or lose the America Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Thomas Paine and others worked so hard to provide a time proven foundation for democracy and freedom. <span style="font:16px 'Lucida Grande', LucidaGrande, Verdana, sans-serif;
